Playing dress-up is huge in our house. I must own a dozen or so hats from various industries that my daughter loves to wear on a daily basis. Just last night she wanted to go to her brothers Karate class wearing a western cowboy hat and the day before that she wanted to wear a police helmet to gymnastics! And you can see in the picture she had breakfast in her Viking hat this morning.
My daughter is particularly fond of Disney characters and I recently found a website that offers tons of costumes at discount prices. It’s called Costume Discounters. After cruising through hundreds of costumes we decided on an “Izzy” costume from Jake and The Neverland Pirates. When it came in the mail she was so excited to put it on and watch her favorite show!
After, we went outside to the front yard to play with our neighbor who was also dressed up.
This is how it looks from the back! Isn’t it cute? The sizes are really true to fit. I ordered a 3T-4T for my daughter who is built really small and it fit perfectly!

The tunic is light pink and features fluffy short sleeves, and a multilayered inlet skirt. The leggings included are blue and look exactly like the pants that Izzy wears on the show. The boots are brown and look like traditional pirate boots with big cuffs around the top of them. The bandana is light pink, matches the tunic, and will fit comfortably over your child’s head. This costume is finished off with a golden pouch that can be easily be worn around the neck. It is this pouch that brings this entire outfit together and will make your child look like her favorite character Izzy.

This is probably the best costume site I’ve ever seen. That Izzy costume looks spot on! My two daughters are huge into dress up, like as in all day every day kind of huge. This is perfect for the birthdays coming up. *squee* Going to go shopping now. =)
