Disney Pixar’s Cars3 Activity Pack

Recap Of Disney Pixar’s Cars3

This film brings all the excitement and thrills of the previous two Cars stories to provide new twists and exciting turns. Cars 3 includes the favorite characters of Lightning McQueen, Mater, Sally, and others from Radiator Springs to the latest racing scene. The director wastes no time to demonstrate Lightning’s strong desire to win, and his struggles to stay competitive as he gets older.

Lightning seeks out help for his latest hopes in achieving greatness on the racing track, but soon learns that a will to win and past successes cannot always beat the faster and more aggressive young rookies. Through a series of plot twists and a new sponsor, he learns to sharpen his skills with the help of his trainer, Cruz Ramirez. She’s had dreams of being a top racer her whole life, and enjoys the challenge of helping Lightning regain some competitive strategies. Meanwhile, he also remembers the importance of relying on his former mentors (Doc Hudson, and Doc’s trainer) for advice and new coaching. The film takes a close look at the star’s journey through the challenges of ageism, stereotypes, and teacher-student relationships. It’s full of warm social messages, mixed in with action and humor. As Pixar has achieved with its past successes, Cars 3 appeals to a wide audience and will keep the kids smiling along with the parents for a memorable experience.

3 Ways To Save On Fuel for Summer Road Trips

This is a sponsored post courtesy of Tatu Digital Media.

3 Ways To Save On Fuel for Summer Road Trips

Summer road trips often mean piling into the SUV with as much stuff as you can carry.  However, filling up a big car full of people and things also means filling the fuel tank up a few times for the trip. We would all love to find ways to enjoy our vacation while saving a little bit of money so here are 3 ways to save on fuel for your road trip:

  1. Purchase a Gift Card now thru 6/27 at any Albertsons, Safeway, Vons, Pavilions, Tom Thumb, Shaw’s, Jewel or ACME and save 4x the fuel rewards. That’s right 4x’s!!!!
  2. Double dip on your rewards by using your rewards credit card to purchase the gift cards at the grocery store. Those rewards are practically falling in your lap
  3. Stock up on gift cards for gifts, or for self use. Why wait until the last minute to go holiday shopping when you can get it out of the way now?

NOTE: Some southwest stores are not participating – please call or visit your local store for details.

REMEMBER: This is a very limited time offer and the deal is only valid until June 27th! Don’t miss out on this awesome deal. See store for more details!

Other Ways To Limit Fuel Consumption

  • Check Your Tire Pressure – Before you go, check your tire pressure to make sure it is at the manufacturer’s recommended PSI. This little tip will save you on MPG over distance

  • If your car has Eco Mode, use it. ECO mode reduces throttle response to help you accelerate slowly and smoothly. It also modifies air conditioning response to reduce the drain on engine power. Driving in this mode will improve fuel economy.

  • Use cruise control – Turning on the cruise control helps you maintain a constant speed on the highway and, usually, will save you money on fuel. It also helps you feel more relaxed as you travel long distances.
  • Pack a cooler before you go. Less stops means less braking which means you will spend less on Gas. Along your road trip, you may want to stop at your local Albertsons, Safeway, Vons, Pavilions, Tom Thumb, Shaw’s, Jewel or ACME  store and grab sandwich stuff for lunches, long drive days, or day trips. (Pick up some gift cards while you are there, too).

(Don’t Forget, The Gift Card deal is only available now thru 6/27 at any Albertsons, Safeway, Vons, Pavilions, Tom Thumb, Shaw’s, Jewel or ACME. You can save 4x the fuel rewards.)

100+ Stores that Accept Apple Pay

Recently, I was introduced to the amazing world of apple pay. What is this do you ask?  It’s Simple. Apple Pay is a payment method that allows you to easily pay with your debit cards and credit cards with just a touch. And because your card details are never shared by Apple when you use Apple Pay, making payments with your iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad, and Mac is the safer, more private way to pay.

How Do I get Apple Pay?

Find your “wallet app” on your device (it looks like a wallet), add your credit card info and then you never have to worry about forgetting your wallet. How many times have you been to the grocery store only to discover you left your wallet at home? Probably never because only I seem to do that.

Seriously, Apple Pay is so easy even a monkey can do it. Just hold your phone over the card reader, it will buzz and your done!

3 Ways To Get Home Safe This New Years Eve

3 Ways To Get Home Safe This New Years Eve

We all care about our family and friends, so please think of others tonight and do not get in the car drunk. Here are 3 ways to get home safe tonight if you have been out partying. This can possibly save another life.

  • First, for those who aren’t drinking: Deputies recommended you download an app called Designated Driver VIP or DDVIP, which is free on iTunes and Android and helps people find bars that offer free non-alcoholic drinks, food or other incentives to designated drivers.
  • Orange County Transportation Authority buses will be offering free rides to people on New Year’s Eve from 6 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. Orange County taxi cabs will also be working during the holiday. If you are not from OC look up your local transportation Authority.
  • The Auto Club of Southern California is also offering its free Tipsy Tow service. A person who has been drinking can call 1-800-400-4AAA and ask for a tow. A service truck will arrive and take the person – no passengers allowed – and their car home free for the first seven miles. The service is available from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. on New Year’s.
