This past week we attended a media preview for the new Ringling Bros. show “Out of this world”. Prior to the circus starting, guests can attend the animal open house. This is where you can view the animals that are part of the show/ We saw lions, tigers, llamas, a kangaroo, a p ig, dogs, horses and more.
If you want to treat the kids to something fun, they offer face painting for $15, plus you get a pair of big plastic clown glasses. The whole paint job only took about 8 mins.
One you get to your seats, there are a bunch of clowns walking around entertaining you. This year the show is performed on ice so there is no pre-show on the floor. My boys had some much fun interacting with them!
One of my sons even did the Dab with one of the clowns. Be prepared to take some amazing selfies with them. They are so playful.
One of the newest acts this years involved the use of the simet astronaut wheel. this contraption is a giant oblong shaped wheel that rotates 360 degrees while performers walk on it, ride a bike and hang from it, all while keeping their balance.
There are also contortionists, and the motorcycle cage that is always so captivating to watch!
If you like a ball game, don’t miss the King Charles Troupe, a group of unicycling, basketball wielding men and women performing on one wheel.
The equestrian acts were amazing to watch. These horses are moving so fast and it blows my mind at how disciplined and how much concentration the riders have.
The lions and tigers were also fun because they are so big but so well-behaved.
