Romaine Salad with Pears, Pomegranate and Pistachios

This Thanksgiving was a tough one for me. It was the first Thanksgiving I ever had without my dad. It’s been 4 weeks since he passed and it still feels like he just kissed me goodnight yesterday. To honor him I made a salad with one of his favorite things. Pistachios. Here is a recipe for a Pomegranate, Pistachio and Pear Salad.

First start by chopping up your romaine lettuce. Wash it and then spin it in a salad spinner.

Then chop up all fruits and vegetables.

Add each item one at a time in your desired  fashion until it looks the way you want it to look.

Finally toss it all together and use Marzetti simply dressed pomegranate dressing.
