Aloha Spreads
A couple years back I took a trip to Oahu with my husband. While we were there, we stopped at a local market and ran into Aloha Spreads. It was so good, I bought several jars and brought them home for my family to enjoy!
Years later, I was still thinking about that delicious peanut butter (yes, it is that good), so I tracked them down again. It was like Christmas morning when I got a shipment of the Banana, Coconut and Almond peanut butter flavors!
So let me tell you a little bit about this peanut butter. It is all natural, organic, vegan, GMO free and made with only sustainable ingredients. It is also gluten, additive and preservative free. Most importantly, its delicious! It is smooth and creamy and flavorful. Unlike other natural peanut butters, you don’t have to stir it up to use it. On top of that, peanut butter is a fantastic and kid-approved source of protein! I’ve tried fish and no, it’s not kid-approved.
They offer the following flavors: Peanut Only, Plain, Coconut, Banana, Lemon Peel, Liliko’i Mango, Almond, Macadamia, Orange and Apple Cinnamon. These are not flavors that come from a bottle that a factory made that is trying to make a “banana” flavor or a “coconut” flavor, these flavors come straight from the source and you can truly taste it. They are the real deal and so ono! That’s Hawaiian for delicious!
Other than the obvious PB&J, this peanut butter is great on pancakes…
fruit…Coconut on a strawberry is awesome!
on a sundae…
and well, this speaks for itself, right?
If you would like to try Aloha Spreads, you can order online at alohaspreads.com and the shipping is free! If you happen to be in San Diego, check out the local farmers market where they like to pop up!
Purchased the Almond & Peanut spreads at a local market. Very smooth & taste good. Contacted them for ingredient info. They have a nutritional panel on their web site however no ingredient list. They have thus far refused to advise if there are any sweeteners natural or otherwise. There is no organic label or non-gmo label on the jars and they will not say how much if any is organic or what percentage approx. is coconut. I explained it was for health concerns, 2 contacts no info. We can not buy there products.
wow, that is a major bummer! I wonder why they are being unethical?
Hi, I finally got one person at a local market tell me they use all parts of whole fresh coconuts and again said Organic nuts. Whole coconut could me anything from Coconut Sugar to coconut aminos (Coconut Secret Organic Coconut Aminos is great by the way) to sweeet coconut water. Again no certification of anything and nothing on their plain paper handout. I give up, not buying again. Added a teaspoon of OrganicCoconut Oil to my own Certified Organic Nut Butter & mixed – great and does well in the fridge. I do thank them for that idea however.
Why – $$$ –
