I think it’s safe to assume everyone knows who the Smurfs are, but in case you don’t the Smurfs are a fictional colony of small blue humanoids who live in mushroom-shaped houses in the forest. Created in 1958, the Smurfs were introduced as a series of comic characters by the Belgian comics artist Peyo where they were known as Les Schtroumpfs.
