Hold on to your taste buds because they are about to get crazy! The first ever “Sugar Rush”, the sweetest event you will ever taste, is coming on Saturday, December 5 and Sunday, December 6, 2015 to the OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa. Star chefs, bakers and confectioners will come together to create an unforgettable holiday sweet shoppe to satisfy even the most decadent sweet tooth.
Sugar Rush will be a one-of-a kind dessert market experience packed with decadent and delicious sweet treats and shopping from dozens of the best pastry chefs and confectioners in Southern California.
What will I see?
Nifty Candy is the newest sweets company from the creators of Jelly Belly Jelly Beans and they will be unveiling some brand new candy concepts at Sugar Rush. Viva Los Cupcakes will feature their Mexican food inspired cupcake collection full of very unique and non-traditional flavor profiles. Dunkin’ Donuts will be offering their famous donuts, donut holes and coffee bar.

- Paloma’s Palleta’s gourmet popsicles

Adult Bites
For those with an adult sweet tooth, Drunken Cake Pops will offer alcohol infused pops and other sweet treats with adult beverages. Nesquik will also be in attendance to host a decadent chocolate milk bar on Sunday, December 6!
Decorating Classes
Baker’s Bodega will be hosting dessert decorating classes and demonstrations with top names in the dessert craft industry throughout the festival. Dessert lovers will also enjoy chef demonstrations, live entertainment, games and crafts for kids.
Competition
As the first week of December celebrates National Cookie Cutter week, Sugar Rush is inviting professional confectionary and pastry chefs along with amateur dessert artisans to participate in the Sugar Rush Cookie Competition. In addition, theSugar Cookie Art Display Competition will bring together a cookie, an artist and a cause to battle for the best sugar cookie art display. All entries will be put on display for the festivalgoers to bid on via a silent auction. The auction proceeds will be donated to the local charity Share Our Selves, a nationally recognized health center providing quality, comprehensive safety net services to the Orange County community.
Tickets for Sugar Rush are currently on-sale and start at only $20 online for general admission. VIP tickets are available and include one-hour early admission before general admission guests, a VIP swag bag, chocolate and spirits pairing and access to the VIP Sugar Lounge. A portion of ticket proceeds will benefit Festival of Children, which improves the lives of children by strengthening the charities that serve them.
