Holidays at SeaWorld

You haven’t experienced Christmas until you have visited SeaWorld during the Holidays. Seaworld has numerous Holiday themed animals shows, real snow, reindeers and more!

And let’s not forget about Shamu!  This year a new nighttime show called “Shamu’s Christmas Miracles” stars none other than Shamu and features a powerful vocalist and community choirs.

Also new this year is Dolphin Island Christmas, a daytime Christmas-themed dolphin show that celebrates the holidays with a tropical twist. Returning for a second year is The Pets Rule Christmas show, featuring animals adopted from shelters, and Clyde & Seamore’s Christmas Special starring the prankster-loving pinnipeds who have a hilarious holiday time in this Christmas-themed sea lion and otter show. Also new this year is Santa’s Christmas Village where guests can mingle with Santa’s elves and Mrs. Claus, enjoy a sweet treat such as a waffle-on-a-stick and, every day before Christmas, get a photo with Santa. Plus, Mrs. Claus invites everyone to join her in a spirited sing-along to help her and the elves light a festive 40-foot animated tree.

There is nothing that gets you in the mood more than spectacular decorations. The marine park is decked out more than ever before with more than one million holiday lights; Christmas décor throughout the park; SeaWorld’s 320-foot Skytower Christmas Tree of Lights; and up to 35 inches of snow at SnowWorld. SeaWorld’s Christmas Celebration runs through Jan. 4. For more information, call (800) 257-4268 or visit

Teams participating in San Diego’s Poinsettia Bowl and Holiday Bowl will get in a festive mood before their college football bowl games at Qualcomm Stadium by spending Team Days at SeaWorld. Players, coaches and staff from both of the Poinsettia Bowl-bound teams will visit SeaWorld on Sunday, Dec. 21, while both Holiday Bowl teams will enjoy a day of fun animal adventures at the park on Thursday, Dec. 25.

Anyone on the search for the perfect holiday gift to be cherished forever by a marine mammal lover needs to check out SeaWorld®. The marine park has a host of up-close animal encounters, such as animal interaction programs where participants enter the water with beluga whales and bottlenose dolphins, touch a penguin, feed turtles, meet otters, sloths, llamas, a water monitor, beavers and many more intriguing critters. On top of this, the best way to enjoy SeaWorld’s enchanting holiday season feast is with a Fun Card. Those who purchase a 2015 SeaWorld Fun Card can enjoy all of SeaWorld’s Christmas festivities in 2014, plus come back again and again in 2015 and enjoy SeaWorld’s 50th Celebration Sea of Surprises—all for the price of single-day admission (with limited blackout dates).
