There is a new 4-D movie in the LEGO Showplace Theater at LEGOLAND California Resort. It’s called LEGO® 4 D- Officer in pursuit and it opened exclusively at LEGOLAND® California Resort on Jan. 13. Join your LEGO® City Police Officers in a crazy chase across town, searching for the mischievous crook. The new movie combines 3D computer animation with 4D real-world effects like wind, bubbles, and water– taking families along for the ride across the LEGO® City metropolis in this newest action-packed adventure. The fun-filled motion picture is included in the Park’s admission.
We recently attended a preview and got to meet Hot Dog Guy and a police officer while we dined on hot dogs, cookies and popcorn! They even had crooks walking around trying to escape the police officer. They were found eventually. In the Lego store they even have hot dog/police themed clothing and accessories.
The movie itself is so good. It’s actually my favorite one and the kids all loved the 3-D glasses and the use of the crazy special effects. There was so much laughing, giggling and excitement in the theater.

How Long Is LEGO® City 4 D – Officer in Pursuit?
The Lego 4-d Movie is approximately 12 minutes long and strollers are not permitted. Latecomers will not be admitted. Loud music, sound effects, lasers, smoke, water effects and strobe lighting effects are used so if your child might be scared it is best to take a seat in the back of the house.
