Cookies are my favorite part of the holiday/winter season. I often host cookie exchanges at my house and look forward to try all the different cookies my friends come up with. This year I was introduced to an amazing cookie company based in Hawaii called the “Honolulu Cookie Company“. You had me at Hawaii!! This company not only bakes delicious short bread (think Lorna Doone but better) but they support the Pacific Marine Life Foundation, a local non-profit organization working to discover solutions to the conservation challenges facing marine species and ecosystems.
Each box comes with an accordion style booklet showing you all of the cookies that are included and a little background about the company. The flavors included are: Enjoy Butter Macadamia, Pineapple Macadamia, Chocolate Dipped Macadamia, White Chocolate Coconut, White Chocolate Kona Coffee, Dark Chocolate Dipped Macadamia, Dark Chocolate Coconut, and Triple Chocolate Macadamia.
I would be lying if I said I didn’t eat half of the box the first day. These cookies come individually wrapped too so you can put a couple inside the kids lunches for school. t was a fun little surprise for them! My favorite cookie is the Dark Chocolate coconut. They are so buttery and light, yet when you bite into them you get this delicious chocolately burst of flavor and the combination will blow your mind!
The Honolulu Cookie Company also had Holiday Boxes. One of their most popular ones is the Mele Quilt Gift Box. It comes in 2 sizes and has the same decadent cookies in the shape of pineapples. Flavors included are: Peppermint, Chocolate Peppermint, White Chocolate Peppermint, and Dark Chocolate Peppermint bring a chilly mint taste to even the sunniest tropical holiday.
The Honolulu Cookie Company is the perfect place for your holiday gift shopping. For more information visit their website or find them on Facebook and Twitter.
