With Halloween coming, candles are the perfect accessory for any party. Today I was at the dollar store and picked up some materials to make DIY votives made from candy corn and tea lights. The glass containers are only $1 at your local dollar store as well as a bag of tea lights for another $1 and a bag of candy corn for less than that.
DIY Candy Corn Votive Instructions
- Empty bag of candy corn into glass container
- Add tea light on top
- Light and enjoy!
Final Product
Innovative, inexpensive and lovely! The colors of the candy corn look great in those glass containers, and has that halloween feel. Thanks for sharing!

What a cute and easy idea!
What a cute and easy way to add some fall fun to the house! Pretty cheap to do too.
That is cute! I could seriously see my girls accidentally blowing out the tea cup candle to grab some corn!
So cute! I’ve done something similar with conversation hearts!
That is too cute! I could see myself doing something similar for other holidays as well. And a great use for candy corn (for those of us, like me, who don’t eat it).
These are so cute and easy! I love them!! =)
Super cute! And so simple to put together. Great idea :)
I love candles so much! Especially in the fall and winter (I’m actually a candle hoarder-I buy, but don’t burn. Lol!) I also love how candy corn looks for decorating-so this is perfect! I bet my daughter would love to help make these too!
This is a cute idea. :)
