Have fun and get smart with brain builders. As there are many choices in after school programs, brain builders stands out with Goal Setting – Creating goals that students can achieve, Teaching Concepts (i.e. science, math, logic, critical thinking) – Teaching students concepts that they can apply to achieve their goals, and Creating an Interactive Environment – Providing students with a hands-on environment where they can tangibly accomplish their goals. My pleasure Shane!
I love the idea of incorporating some of these more physically oriented courses into an after school program. I danced a ton while I was growing up, but I always wanted to try something like Karate. I thought it would be a lot of fun, so I can see why others would want to do the same thing. I think adding recreation into a student’s life is a great idea. Thanks for sharing!
