Having a baby is such an exciting time! It seems a lot of people choose not to find out the sex of their baby which can make it hard to throw a gender specific baby shower but there are ways around it. A couple of years ago I threw a baby show for my SIL who did not know the sex of their baby so I went with a very neutral damask theme and it turned out to be such an adorable shower!
I started off by hanging a cute banner on the front door. I attached it together with black tulle and a hole puncher.
I found a lady who makes diaper cakes off of craigslist and it was super cute!
I found baby pacifiers at Amazon and used those as napkin rings. You can buy them HERE.

My favorite part of the shower was the shower curtain I purchased at Amazon and used it as a backdrop. Doesn’t it look cute? You can buy it HERE.
I also dipped marsh mellows into chocolate and covered them with sprinkles. Then I got a piece if styrofoam, covered it with damask wrapping paper and stuck the pops in the styrofoam to get them to stand upright.

Putting candy in glass containers is so easy and creates such an elegant look.
I had so many compliments and it didn’t look too girly or boyish. Mission accomplished!
